The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan is accepting grant applications for the summer 2017 grant cycles of its Community Impact Grant and the Northeast Michigan Women’s Giving Circle Grant. All non-profit agencies with a 501(c)(3) IRS designation, schools, churches (for non-religious purposes) and government agencies serving the counties of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency and Presque Isle are invited to apply.

Community Impact Grants are for a broad range of projects and programs. The maximum grant request amount is $5,000. Mini-grants of up to $1,000 are also available. The deadline to apply is July 17.

Women’s Giving Circle Grants are for projects and programs that address issues important to women in Northeast Michigan. The maximum grant request amount is $2,000. The deadline to apply for WGC grants is July 3.

Applications and guidelines for both grant opportunities are available at www.cfnem.org where they may be completed online and submitted via email, or printed for completion. If applications are mailed, they must be postmarked by the grant deadline date and sent to the CFNEM office at P.O. Box 495, Alpena, MI 49707.
